This Family ROCKED IT!

This family was so kool! I loved these boys. They were natural posers and so hansom. They must get it from Mom and Dad ;-). Wanted to send out this sneak peek for them.






I was so excited when they brought their motorcycle gear. I love when families show their interestes and personality in the images. Love these tough guy glances!

I'm BACK!

I'm so happy to be HOME! I was gone quite a bit longer than expected. My grandmother actually had 3 fractures in her spine. One was older and had been healing on it's own (can you imagine??) and the other two were new. They did surgery on her back and she is now home and receiving therapy and has home health aids. I have tried for over a year to move her closer to me, but she is determined to stay in her home of 50 years and who can blame her. Just please pray for my family as we go through this chapter of life!

I went to the Dr. and saw the new baby's heartbeat. I'm 8 weeks along! We are so excited to get a new member of the family... I could do with out the morning sickness, but I know it's worth it.

ANYWAY, I'm back and actually had three sessions this weekend after my return and they ROCKED!! I can't wait to show you some sneak peeks, but for now I will share some of the sessions I was completing before I left.

THE HALE GIRLS

Ok... here goes...

Ok, no pics this post. I wanted to use this as an avenue to let my clients and blog friends know about some issues currently in my family. After some moving and rescheduling from last weekend, we have more issues this weekend. I am on my way this morning to East Texas. My grandmother (Mother really as she raised me from a small child) is in the hospital and I must be there with her. She has back issues and is afflicted with Fibro-Myalgia which is an extremely painful condition.

We are at that point in life where we need to make some decisions on her care. I want her to move in with me, but she is fiercely independent so that is just a battle we continue to fight. She is also 84 so the Dr.'s are more cautious with her care. She should have surgery on her back to correct some of her issues, but her age stops them from making that a reality.

As some you may already know, I also recently found out I am pregnant! We are thrilled, but it has caused me to be a bit tired and slower with my images than usual. If I remember from my last three pregnancies though, that feeling will pass in another week or two. Thanks to all of those who have already sent well wishes.

For those of you awaiting images, I will be working on them in the Hospital and at least I should be able to focus a bit there. I will post what I complete when I return.

Isn't she sweet??? I couldn't stand it and had to work a few. She was such a doll. Thanks guys for letting me capture her in her first weeks.

Isn't she just the cutest?! She was happy the entire shoot and I'm so glad Mom decided to go Urban. Can't believe Baby A. is already 1... seems like I JUST took her Mom's maternity images.... sigh...

I'm still here...

... mostly!! Might get a little deep here so feel free to just continue to the images. I'm been in a bit of a funk lately. As many of you know, I work full-time outside of my photography business as well. The main goal is to transition to solely run my business. While I knew it would be difficult to grow a business and be a responsible employee at the same time, I guess I did not realize HOW difficult. I strive to keep my clients happy, my boss happy, and last but certainly not least, to be a quality involved mother and wife. As a client put it so aptly recently, sometimes Super Woman's cape gets holes in it. 8-)

Anyway, I've been out of pocket the last few weeks, still working, but not knowing how to find time to edit, work, post blogs, get everyone to soccer practice, guitar lesson's, school, do laundry, and make sure everyone is clean and fed! SO... I can't promise that my posting will get better, but I'm trying to get use to the schedule. While some of these are not previews, I did want to let you guys all know what I've been working on lately and that I'm still committed to my dream!!
